Friends of the Western Balkans, in partnership with WB30, has contributed to a new research report examining why the accession of the Western Balkans should be regarded as a strategic imperative for the European Union. Titled Securing Through Enlargement: Why Western Balkan Accession is a Strategic Imperative for the European Union, the report was authored by Heather Lindsay, with contributions from Alja Brglez, and features a foreword by Lieutenant General Sir Barney White-Spunner KCB, CBE, former NATO commander in the Balkans.
